Serving Lunch
Apparently, by feeding all the songbirds and other birds at feeders in my yard, I'm also offering a buffet lunch for any hawk that happens to pass over. I looked out the back door earlier this week to see what birds were feeding and there were absolutely none--here's the reason...

he is gorgeous!! as long as he doesn't scare away the smaller birds for good, seeing him occasionally would be quite a treat, i think. :) great shot!
